2025 Annual Dinner Meeting & Guest Speaker
Join us on April 16 at Orchard Creek for our annual dinner meeting with guest speaker Evan Friss.
Evan is a professor of history at James Madison University. His most recent book The Bookshop: A History of the American Bookstore has been widely praised as “charming and deeply researched”. The Bookshop is a New York Times bestseller and one of the New Yorker’s Best Books of 2024. Evan is much sought after and we are fortunate that he has agreed to join us.
Reservations are required and cost is $30 per person. Checks may be made out to Waynesboro Friends of the Library and mailed to Mary Kay VanHooser – 501 Oak Ave – Waynesboro VA 22980. Payment must be received by April 3, 2025.
ABOUT US
The Friends of the Waynesboro Public Library is a nonprofit organization founded in 1966 to focus attention on the library’s services and needs, and aid in the extension and improvement of these services. Funds raised by the Friends are used to purchase special library materials and fund programs for children and adults. The Friends of the Library help in enriching the library and the community, and in order to continue doing so, we need your support!
