ABOUT US
The Friends of the Waynesboro Public Library is a nonprofit organization founded in 1966 to focus attention on the library’s services and needs, and aid in the extension and improvement of these services. Funds raised by the Friends are used to purchase special library materials and fund programs for children and adults. The Friends of the Library help in enriching the library and the community, and in order to continue doing so, we need your support! We meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month (except July and December) at 6:30 pm at the Library. All are welcome to attend.
MEMBERSHIP
For more than fifty years, the Friends have supported the Waynesboro Public Library. Your membership dues help us provide the Library with technical equipment, furnishings, programs, services, and resources that otherwise wouldn’t be possible.

Book Sales at the Waynesboro Farmer’s Market
We will be at the Waynesboro Farmer’s Market every other Saturday (follow us on Facebook). We will have a selection of books for sale, including children’s books. Most books $1.00. All proceeds benefit the Waynesboro Public Library. In the event of rain in the forecast, we will not set up. Books and rain don’t mix!
