Volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization! Every volunteer makes a measurable impact in the funds that Friends raise for the Library’s life-enriching programs and services.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Book Sale Volunteers
Throughout the year, a small group of volunteers gathers on Tuesday mornings to process donated books for sale by the Friends. This work includes inspecting the condition of incoming books as well as organizing and pricing the books for sale, all under the guidance of the Friends Book Sale Chairperson.
Board Membership
The Friends Board of Directors consists of 10 to 12 members, 4 of whom are elected officers and the remainder of whom are appointed by the President to chair various committees. The Board is always looking for interested and qualified individuals who could be available to serve as vacancies occur.
